Susarla Sivaram

Sri Susarla Sivaram was born on the auspicious day of Maha Sivaratri in the year 1936 to Sri Susarla Krishnamurthy and Smt. Susarla Rattamma and expired on Naraka Chaturdasi in the year 1985 (Date) – both the days are of importance of Lord Siva. He did BA Music and BA Arts.  He worked as Lecturer for Carnatic Music(Vocal)in the Tyagaraja Government College for Music & Dance, Ram Kote, Hyderabad and he was a B.Hi. Artist in All India Radio.  His knowledge in music was highly commendable.  He taught music to many students and some students even stayed in his house and appeared for music exams.  His speciality was that he used to teach the music as per the student’s knowledge.  He used to treat his students with affection and for some students who were poor, he extended financial help also.

He has left us with so many of his great works. The only thing we had to do is preserve all of his works and publish it on a social platform.
